La carte permet d'enregistrer / digitaliser des musiques ou sons provenant d'une source extérieure via la prise Jack (attention la source doit être déjà amplifiée : chaine hifi avec lecteur CD / lecteur K7, synthétiseurs avec ampli, ou Haut parleurs avec ampli intégré et prise casque, etc...).
 
Une démo est aussi inclu sur la disquette, et peut être modifiée pour créer un scroll text personnalisé ou en changeant de musique au format Mastersound.
 
La cartouche MasterSound ne permet pas de lire des modules .MOD soundtrack, mais d'enregistrer une source sonore externe, de la sauvegarder dans un fichier et de la réutiliser, de la lire (au format Mastersound) ou modifier (un séquenceur est également présent).

The card allows you to record / digit music or sounds coming from an external source with the jack socket (note that the source must already be amplified: hi-fi system with CD player/K7 player, synthesizers with amp, or speakers with integrated amp and headphone jack, etc...).

A demo is also included on the floppy disk, and can be modified by creating a custom scroll text or by changing music to Mastersound format.

The MasterSound cartridge does not allow you to read .MOD soundtrack modules, but to record an external sound source, save it in a file and reuse it, read it (in Mastersound format) or modify it (a sequencer is also present ).
